Yosemite FTP server
Nelle ultime versioni di Mac OS X, non c'è più la possibilità di attivare la condivisione dei file attraverso FTP.
Se andate a guardare tra le impostazioni, non troverete nulla al riguardo.
Ma in verità la possibilità di attivare la condivisione tramite FTP, e quindi usare il nostro Mac come FTP server, esiste; solamente è nascosta.
E non c'è neanche bisogno di installare software di terze parti.
Per attivarla basta lanciare questo comando dal terminale:
sudo -s launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist
A questo punto aprite un client FTP, immettete l'IP del Mac, e come credenziali le stesse che usate per il login.
Vi rtiroverete nella home del vostro Mac.
Per disattivare la condivisione tramite FTP lanciate questo comando:
sudo -s launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist
Se non volte usare il terminale, potete provare questo programma: Lion FTPD Enable.
Non fatevi ingannare dal nome, è compatibile anche con Maverick e Yosemite.

Another question, i share only two folder on my network but if i try to access via ftp (with lion ftpd enable active and with portforwarding router on port 21) i can see all my home folder. How is possible to limit this ftp share?
02/03/2015hi, i'm using ftpd Enable on yosemite. Io info section i can read the macbook name with th lan ip of my mac but also 10.211.55.2, 10.37.129.2 and 192.168.50.1. Can you explain me what they mean? Regards William
